NY Empire State Manufacturing Index for May
Only fell to -9.2, beating the expected -10,
from -8.1 the previous month.
Monthly April US headline producer Price Index
contracted by-0.5%, where an increase by 0.2%
was expected and from the 0.4% decline in March.
April US Retail Sales fell to Just
0.1% a small beat on the 0% estimate and
compared to the 1.5% previous release.
The Monthly Industrial Production data for
April fell to 0.0%, a miss on the estimated 0.2%,
though up from the -0.3% in March.
ECB Policymaker and Governor of the Bank of France
Francois Villeory de Galhau stated that protectionist
policies annouced by the US President Trump
administration will lead to a "restart of Inflation in
its economy, not in Europe"
